Losing Weight Won’t Guarantee Happiness

#TBT To the time when I got down to my ultimate goal weight of 132lbs and still absolutely hated the way I looked. As a society we get so fixated on our appearances and about what the scale says that we lose sight of what it truly means to feel happy and healthy.
.
All of my life I have struggled with body image issues and unhealthy relationships with food. It took a very long time to get a grasp on this. I am still working on it but I have come a long way. Now, I feel it is my obligation to teach others what it truly means to have self worth.
.
You will never be perfect so go ahead and get that through your head. Don’t hide your imperfections. You could have anything you want in life, but if you don’t like what you see or the person you’ve become, you will never truly be happy. .
Cheers to all the people out there who don’t put themselves down in public or in private.
