Christmas Time is Here!
Little kid Em: Mommy, is Santa real?
Momma Berg: Well, what do you think?
Little Kid Em: Santa would never disappoint me!

Seriously though, I look forward to Christmas every year. Although, when I was a kid, I used to get almost a week off of school. Adulting doesn’t quite work that way anymore, but that’s ok.

The holiday season can be very hectic. It is easy to start resenting the holiday because we get caught up in work, obligations, and gift-giving. For some people, this is the time of year where it is easy to feel lonely and also start thinking about the people we have loved and lost. I see the holiday blues quite often. We forget what the holiday season is all about.

I urge you to start to look around you and start thinking about everything and everyone that you are thankful for. Take some time for self-care and to reflect. Cherish every moment and be present.
-
If you feel yourself experiencing guilt or in need of finding closer to anything in your past that you have not seemed to get rid of, the time is now. Show up for yourself and move forward.

What or who are you thankful for? Please share!
