INSPIRE

When I was 19, I was at a horrible place in my life:

BROKE-PURPOSELESS-OVERWEIGHT

I got hired as a receptionist at New Lady Fitness. Getting hired was a huge mystery to me considering the place I was in, in my life. I aesthetically didn't look the part. But I scrounged up enough money to buy myself a pair of tennis shoes and a few workout pieces.

The environment was a place I never knew existed. There were woman of all ages, shapes, and sizes. They were all there with one purpose; to look better, feel better, and improve themselves. Everyone was so positive, supportive, and motivating. This is where I met a woman who inspired me to make a change. She was the personal training manager there, and she just embodied everything I wanted to be and more. She was in shape, led by example, her clients loved her, and she was very successful.

Two years later, I went from being an overweight receptionist to becoming the head personal trainer at New Lady fitness, I had lost 50 pounds and was able to help hundreds of women lose weight and see results. The environment and this one-woman changed the trajectory of my entire life.

When I created EZ Wellness, the word "inspire" became one of my central core values. What does inspire mean to me? It means leading by example. I have made plenty of mistakes, and I am not afraid to share them. I will never advise a client to do something that I haven't done. I am always learning, growing, and looking for ways to improve. I put these things into practice before giving an opinion on them. I live my life as if the whole world is watching.

I am a people watcher at heart, I've been this way my whole life. I don't focus on what people are saying; I watch their actions and how they respond to things. I hold myself to the same standards. So, I want you to take a few minutes to think about your life thus far. Who in the past has encouraged you indirectly? Who is someone you know who currently leads by example?
