Ditch the Scale
Losing 5-10 pounds won’t necessarily gain your happiness. It won’t even guarantee that your health markers will improve. We keep thinking that we’ll be in a better state of mind and have better options in life if we get to that particular weight on the scale.

But I am here to tell you from my experience that you’re wrong. People will still love you just the way you are. Compliments won’t make you feel better about yourself, and you still have to face yourself in the mirror every day.

Most likely you have something else going on inside of you. It’s worth figuring out. Stop basing your worth on the scale.
