Behavioral Goals vs Outcome Goals

So many of us get caught up in outcome goals instead of focusing on behavioral goals. It is great to have an end goal in mind (outcome), but you need to know precisely how to get there (behavioral). You will need to create a plan of action to reach your specific goals. For example, if you would like to lose 30lbs, you would first start to look into your daily habits and create a plan based on that. An example would be:
~
Workout 3x a week.
Drink half your body weight in ounces.
Eat starchy carbs around your most active part of your day.
~
My point here is, you have to create a plan which is your road map to a successful outcome. You have to write it down because if you don't, it's just a thought and you won't put it into action. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at emily@ez-wellness.com
